SAFETY FIRST — EVERY TASK, EVERY PERSON, EVERY DAY
Economic Society “Milli” recognizes the protection of the life, health, safety and wellbeing of our employees, contractors, visitors and all persons who may be affected by our activities as a fundamental responsibility and a core value of our business.
In accordance with the principles of ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, applicable occupational health and safety legislation of Turkmenistan, and internationally recognized HSE good practices, Economic Society “Milli” is committed to preventing work-related injuries, occupational ill health, environmental harm and operational incidents through systematic hazard identification, risk assessment, effective control measures and continual improvement of our HSE performance.
Safety is planned before work begins. No task is so urgent or important that it cannot be performed safely. Every employee and contractor has both the right and the responsibility to stop work when an unsafe condition or act is identified, raise concerns and report hazards, near misses and incidents without fear of reprisal. Work shall only proceed when the associated risks have been adequately assessed and controlled.
Our HSE culture is founded on visible leadership, personal accountability, workforce engagement, competence and continual improvement. Economic Society “Milli” provides competent and adequately trained personnel, appropriate resources and personal protective equipment, safe systems of work, effective supervision and emergency preparedness to enable activities to be performed safely and responsibly.
Every employee, contractor and visitor is expected to comply with HSE requirements, participate actively in safety programs, follow approved procedures, use the required protective measures, report hazards and learn from incidents and near misses. Through shared commitment and collective responsibility, we strive to create a workplace where zero harm is the common objective.
EVERY PERSON MATTERS. EVERY TASK MATTERS. EVERY DAY MATTERS.
Our commitment is simple: work safely, protect one another, protect the environment, and ensure that everyone returns home safely at the end of every working day
